Are you prepared for Oracle’s new HCM Payroll Release?

Written by Ben Morris | Nov 5, 2018 4:30:00 PM

Are you currently using EBS 12.1 or 12.2 to its full potential? Recently, Oracle has released their latest Release Upgrade Patch (RUP) containing new functionality and bug fixes for 2018/19.

In the Oracle payroll world, it is mandatory that you keep up to date with the latest release in order to maintain legislative compliance. And with the introduction of new features such as seeded Assignment Costing Approvals and an improved Run Balance Architecture Diagnostic Report, those in HR environments working with payroll, could really benefit from the update.

“Oracle continues to refine and enhance its HR functionality”

Outside of payroll, Oracle continues to refine and enhance its HR functionality, and whilst it’s not mandatory for non-payroll customers, the benefits of the latest code line and new functionality are well recognised.

New for this year, Self-Service HR now has the ‘Ability to Hire a Contact’ and ‘iCalendar Integration for Absences’ has been added, both should prove useful for HR users and employees. iCalendar integration should be of benefit, allowing employees and managers to see absences in their calendar e.g. outlook.

With the recent announcement of Oracle E-Business support up to at least 2030, why not take the opportunity to realise the full potential of your existing solution today?
