The Lulworth Castle 10K charity run is back and Claremont are proud to be the sponsors for the third year running. Taking place on Sunday 24th June 2018, the race has grown in size and attendance year on year. It hasn’t failed to disappoint once again and all 450 places have already been filled. Last year Claremont’s support helped the organisers raise £4,000 for a local charity and they hope to beat that in 2018.
Claremont has a long track record of sharing our success by supporting local charities. But we also encourage our employees to get involved with fund raising and the Lulworth Castle 10K is organised by Jonathan Stuart, our Managed Services Director. Jonathan said:
I’m really pleased that we can support the Lulworth 10K because this event really is a win-win for everyone: the competitors love the race and it raises a substantial amount for charity.
The race is a fantastic opportunity not only to take part in an event with a friendly atmosphere, but one where runners take advantage of the beautiful scenery through Dorset’s Jurassic coast. The run spans through the stunning Lulworth Estate, from tracks on chalk downland to woodland paths and finishes up in the village of Coombe Keynes.
All money raised goes to a great cause and local charity- the Coombe Keynes Trust.
You can follow Claremont’s journey on the day on our Twitter but we don’t just want you to know about our experience, we want to know about yours!
