Claremont places importance on health and wellness for our employees. During the COVID pandemic, we have put in place many initiatives to encourage employees to take care of their well-being.
During the pandemic, Jonathan Stuart, Presales & Delivery Director of Claremont, has been taking care of his health and wellness by running and regularly takes part in local events.
Claremont has a long track record for supporting local charities. As part of this initiative, the company is once again a sponsor of the Coombe Keynes 10K run, one of Jonathan's favourite local running events, close to his home in the beautiful county of Dorset.
This race has been taking place annually since 2015 and after a year of absence due to the pandemic, is now celebrating its 5th annual event taking place on the 20th of June 2021.
Located only a stone’s throw from Lulworth Cove, the race is run on a scenic, hilly course within the private and historic Lulworth Estate, which is also home to Camp Bestival later in the summer.
From tracks on chalk downland to woodland paths, the 10km race forms part of the World Heritage site of the Jurassic Coast, giving this event a unique feel with outstanding views along the course.

"I love that the Coombe Keynes 10K event raises a significant amount of money for charity while giving runners the opportunity to run trails on a beautiful private estate. We appreciate Claremont's support, which means even more money goes to charity." Jonathan Stuart
The start and finish line are in the small Purbeck village of Coombe Keynes. All profits from this race are donated to a local charity, the Coombe Keynes Trust, with around £6 000 donated each year.
There are 380 runners entered into this year’s race and it's a race not to be missed, regardless of whether you are a fun-runner or seasoned club racer.
You can follow Jonathan’s journey on the day on the CK10 Twitter account. We would also love to hear about your experience of the race. Post your pictures and updates to your Twitter account or the race's Facebook page, using #CoombesKeynes10k and tagging @ClaremontOracle
